OUR CHURCH PRAYER TEAM LEADER SHIRLEY IS MORE THAN QUALIFIED FOR THIS VERY SPECIFIC MINISTRY THAT REQUIRES MATURITY IN THEIR WALK WITH GOD AND A TRACK RECORD OF ENDURING TILL THE END AND HAS AGREED TO FILL THIS MINISTRY POSITION.  WE COULD NOT BE MORE THANKFUL!!!!  IT IS WONDERFUL TO KNOW THAT EVERY SINGLE DAY OUR CHURCH AND OUR PASTOR IS LIFTED IN ANOINTED PRAYER!

THE PASTOR'S ARMOR BEARER

The Pastors Armor Bearer must know how to study and pray and seek God for themselves.  They must not be a person who needs applause but more than that they understand the importance of their calling and find "God's Applause" in the SHALOM and Peace of a Gentle Quiet Spirit.

It is a great relief to the pastor to know that he/she does not have to carry their armor bearer physically, mentally or spiritually. 

An Armor Bearer must pray for the pastor .... actually be assigned to prayer .... he/she needs to be a person who can go to God with their needs rather than running to people.  They must be a person of integrity, honesty & exceptional loyalty.  To be prayerfully dedicated to seek the Lord daily for protection over their Pastor and his/her family and the office of pastoral ministries within the church is of utmost importance!  This frees the Pastor to seek God for the messages the family of God under his/her care need to hear.

 Many peoples lives depend upon the armor bearer taking seriously this important yet *behind the scenes* Ministry.  An Armor Bearer must not be a person of gossip or itchy ears, but must be a person of spiritual maturity.  They must believe that our Pastor is called by God and not question their integrity regarding church business but prayerfully seek God to give wisdom, knowledge and direction,

Working closely with the Pastor, the Armor Bearer understands confidentiality and is one who is trustworthy.

When the flow of the church service goes smoothly, when the Pastor is able to minister with ease and peace you can be CERTAIN that his/her Armor Bearer is at work!

On this ------ 20th ----- day of August, 2020 we lay hands of blessing upon Shirley Nelson, acknowledging and in full agreement with the Lord her Call to the position of TGC PRAYER TEAM LEADER and Pastor Cindy's ARMOR BEARER.

She will receive the prayer requests through emails sent by pastor once they come in through the church website, email or prayer line.  She will make the decision on how to move forward in 1 of 2 ways.....

Shirley keeps a Prayer Wall and in her discretion will maintain that wall according to and depending upon the testimonies that follow the prayer support as well as the Holy Spirits Leading and Guidance.
