Reaching the Harvest through Social Media
December 1995 the Lord called Jim and Cindy Barnes into full time Pastoral Ministry. Their daily prayer was "Here I Am Lord, Use Me" and God daily answered that prayer! They served 'side by side' for 18 amazing years. Their mission was clear and their motto even more clear. They were to be a LIGHT in their community - "Linked together with Love". It didn't take long for the people in their neighborhood to realize just how much "They Mattered!" For every need there was a solution, be it prayer or otherwise. The Lighthouse Community Yellow Pages was the "Go-To" Book with the active members first listed by Spiritual Gifts and Talent and then by name. Knowing who you were in the Body of Christ was of great importance in becoming an active team member and doer of the Word which was the very heartbeat of the church as well as the heartbeat of God. ... And things were good!.....
Being Community Planted when you have a Global Vision began to tug at Pastor Cindy's heart.
What about the people who are outside of our arms reach? What about the people who are running away from Jesus and who will never step foot inside the 'brick and mortar' churches we've become so comfortable to witness from?This saddened Cindy's heart for many many years.
How would this affect her?
Or was God possibly preparing her for something so much bigger? ... So much different?
She pondered and prayed ... She wondered and waited...
THOSE DAYS HAVE MOLDED ME INTO THE WOMAN OF GOD THAT I AM TODAY AND I AM SO GRATEFUL! My heart burst forth in REVIVAL when the Lord opened a NEW DOOR and said...."Step Thru It"
March of 2016...... The GLORY Chain Worldwide Christian Ministry was born!
He said: Spread the Good News to EVERYONE EVERYWHERE!
Reach out to The Lost, especially those who are misunderstood. Those who have been mistreated. Those who are Hurting, The Prostitutes, Drug Addicted, the Alcoholic, the Hungry, the Naked, the Lonely, the wounded, the Widow the Prisoner and all those on the Highways and Bi-ways, who are running from me, who will never enter a building or a church with walls and
everyone who is searching for what they don't know they so desperately need ...
Go tell them that I love them and that THEY MATTER!
Once again I daily have the blessing of saying: Here I am Lord....Use Me! And So..... THE GLORY CHAIN, Church Without Walls, Worldwide Christian Ministry came to be.
When I least expected it *EXTRAVAGANT LOVE" began REACHING OUT
through the lens of Periscope Livestream .... could this really work?
On a beautiful afternoon in March 2016 after 45 minutes 'scared to death' to push the *Broadcast Button*
I did what I've ministered to others to do for years....
If you know it is of God and you are scared to death then DO IT scared to death!
I PUSHED IT! I looked into the screen looking back at me and I said
"hey hey, I am Pastor Cindy, we are The GLORY Chain, a church without walls and we welcome YOU here!
Come kick off your shoes, find your seat in the front row and together let's Lift Jesus Higher!
That first night I believe there were about 20 people who peeked in to see what we were all about.
After 5 years on Periscope we had Gathered Together ONE THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY TIMES - Went from that first night with 20 people to 5,000 Followers and 39 MILLION HEARTS 4 JESUS! Then we moved to HAPPS after Periscope Closed their App and for the next 1 plus a few months continued meeting 5 nights a week, THEN BRAVO HALLELUJAH Happs informed us they were shutting down in 2 weeks (it never felt like home, but it was all we had available so we were thankful for the 1+ year we were with them) /// Why BRAVO HALLELUJAH? Because the Lord opened a door for us in TIKTOK ... It is so much like Periscope, our first livestream platform, BUT BETTER! After just a few months we have already gained 2,000 Followers and on an average we have between 500 to 700 people who join in each and every night!
REACHING THE HARVEST THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA??? CAN IT REALLY HAPPEN??? AND ANOTHER INTERESTING FACT IS THAT WHEN COVID HIT AND ALL THE CHURCHES WERE GOING LIVESTREAM AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GATHER TOGETHER IN SUCH A DIFFERENT WAY, WE HAD ALREADY BEEN AT IT FOR OVER 4 YEARS WHEN GOD OPENED THAT DOOR AND SAID, MY BELOVED, MY SHEPHERDESS OF THE FLOCK, GO THRU THIS DOOR AND YOUR HEARTS DESIRE WILL BE FULFILLED AS YOU LOVE ALL WHOM I LOVE WITHOUT PREJUDICE, WITHOUT JUDGEMENT AND WITHOUT EXCEPTION! .... EVERYONE INVITED TO THE FRONT ROW, TO THE SEAT THAT I HAVE INSCRIBED THEIR NAMES ON WITH THE BLOOD I SHED FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE..... SO TO ANSWER THE QUESTION "CAN THIS REALLY WORK?"
YES, IT REALLY CAN WORK!
We CONTINUE MEETING 5 nights a week, HAVE NEVER MISSED A BEAT and now the precious people that I once wept over are now sitting in the front row, hearing the Word of God, getting Born Again filled with the Holy Spirit, growing in leaps and bounds, making friends, being TOUCHED by the Spirit of LOVE, and being used for God's Glory!
Oh, and The TROLLS? What about the Trolls??? They have PRECIOUS HEARTS THAT JESUS DIED FOR and the Lord has given me a way to reach out to them and let them know that I absolutely DO understand them and at one time was very much like them.....I SEE the precious gifts within them and the vulnerability that they have been "TRAINED" to keep inside. Most of the time they stay and listen. Most of the time they even thank me! Some have even asked to be Born Again!!!! Some leave quickly but NOT BEFORE God's Spirit touches them and a SEED HAS BEEN PLANTED! The Secret is DO NOT TAKE "DEBATE" OF THE ENEMY!!!! ..... SATAN PUTS "DEBATE" ON THE "DA-HOOK" AND CASTS IT OUT TO SEE WHO WILL PICK IT UP AND CONTINUE CAUSING MORE SEPARATION AND DIVISION!!! ....
OUR MOTTO IS:
*TROLLS HAVE SOULS* .... it would do all of us good to keep that at the forefront of our mind & heart

BUT GOD'S PEOPLE "RESPOND WITH LOVE!" (this is A Key to THEIR Victory!)
